AdBlock - block ads on iPhone App Reviews

Ads are slipping through too often and it disconnects

This is a system wide Adblocker and it works like a charm in iOS 8 and 10. I originally criticized two flaws (adding multiple domains at once, leaving description field blank) and they were both fixed by the dev. Thats what I call "customer service" :-) Heres the pros and cons of this Adblocker: + works in every app, acts like an advanced hosts file (blocks domains and subdomains) + quite fast (using the default list) o other VPNs cant be used but this is stated in the description already - no customization, e.g. whitelisting of websites (this is due to a technical limitation though!) EDIT: newest updates made blocking very unreliable. Sad...

Without this app I wouldnt have tried iOS. When it vanishes I will happily say goodbye to iOS too. Thanks to the developers for a trouble-free ad blocker that does its job cleanly, quietly and quickly.

I was really sick of having to open websites in safari just so they wouldnt be filled with annoying and sketchy ads. It works perfect, and is local. Id originally planned to do this myself on my home router and VPN into my home all the time, but this way will use far less battery.

This app works marvelously. It blocks all the unwanted content from apps and websites. Its worth the money.

App does not block ads and crashes/closes.

It used to work great but now I get almost as many ads as without it. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no luck. Disappointing especially because I paid full price for it back when it used to work awesome. Currently seeking an alternate app that works as well or better than this one used to.

Total rip off, all it did was block an ad in a game... one time and doesnt work at all in safari.

Update: Just finished reading an article that Apple will not allow a new update from you guys. I can only assume they got too much pressure from other people because they cannot destroy our experience, with ads. Thanks for a great app and I look forward to being able to sideload it :-) ----- Finally an ad blocker that isnt slow, and works without being connected to wifi! Thank you!

When I slide to enable, the app immediately disables itself. What the heck is going on? I payed $2 for this dumb app.

Read about Apples policy change in MacRumors and immediately bought the app. Hope others do the same.

App could be good but the VPN connection always drops after a little time. It would be a five star app if this didnt happen.

This is a great app and gives you and your family control over the content they see. Apple will not let the developer update this app as it simply wants to exclude Google Ads and not Apples Ads.

This is the kind of stuff I thought was reserved for jailbreaking. Apple please do not break this developers methods! Previous vpn method is way more reliable. I have 2.8.2 saved in my iTunes and have restored that version on all my devices.

Ive been using this app for 1 Year when i updated to IOS 10.3.2 It Stopped Working No Ads Are Blocked please fix dis :/

I was surprised to see the reviews on here because I find this to be the best adblocker I have found so far. It works with most apps, cellular and wifi. Honestly youll never find an adblocker that blocks absolutely everything because those server addresses change from time to time. Hard to keep up with. Anyways this is a good app! Requires a good rating :) BTW developer: its working in iOS 11 b1 too. No issues. Thanks again!
