AdBlock - block ads on iPhone App Reviews

The app worked great the first couple months. Recently it started disabling itself on high traffic and news outlet websites. At first I thought it was just a bug so I contacted support which ignored my request for help and told me to just turn it back on each time this happens. Thats how I knew the company is being paid to disable the app on certain sites. Thats how they all start doing when Big Ad industry buys their way into everything.

This app does a decent job at blocking ads in safari and in apps. BUT some ads still go through, especially in Safari, when more websites are getting more sneaky with where they put their ads. So i highly recommend you add Purify along with this app. Purify managed to snag away the ads that this app missed and it is just amazing. Purify is the best adblocker for safari and i use it and this app for the ultimate adblocking experience.

This app works by emulating a VPN that filters out ad servers. I find that it does filter pretty much all of the web ads I am used to seeing without harming the site content. No idea, nor do I care, if it works with ads in video games. Switching it on and off is easy, as is updating the lists of filters and customizing them. Tested in iOS 10.2 with iPhone 7 Plus.

Use to be good, but after the last few updates, doesnt work at all. Does not seem to make any difference.

This is the best adblock app on iOS. It blocks everything from in app ads to browser ads. Definitely worth the money!

Worked perfectly for close to a year until about the beginning of this month when YouTube ads started playing again. Please find a fix for this soon!

It blocks ads almost perfectly... except for YouTube ads. Sad, since thats 75% of my reason why i bought this.

YouTube ads are extremely annoying and Im not paying 10 bucks for RED so please just fix the YouTube ads or Im probably gonna ask for a refund. It just bothers me that I paid over a dollar for this and you dont block YouTube ads at all

I am truly amazed by this app, blocking all ads and Im finding myself uninterrupted. Thank you developers for this app. Definitely amazed by this app.

Works sometimes, but misses a large number of adverts. Doesnt block ads on twitter, Reddit, news apps at all or even reliably. No easy way to find sources or add large external lists of ad cdns.

Works perfectly both on Safari and other news apps.

So far this app has been doing exactly what it promises, however, an occasional ad will pop up now and then depending on the site your on and app your using. Quite frankly Im really surprised when I see an ad that its a bit disappointing for me to see it for the makers of this app because Im really rooting for them. That is the only reason I didnt give them five stars. Ive only had it for a few months since 11/2/16 now so I will reevaluate this app in a couple months...till then folks.??☺️

Love that this works on cellular as well as Wi-Fi. But lately it does not block as much as it did. May be slowing traffic, yet to confirm. Please fix!

I have apps that used to be ad after ad. After I got this, every ad just disappeared! I expected a lot less, to be honest. This completely exceeded my expectations. Thank you, and great job developers!!!

Best app! 1. Super easy to install and very easy to turn on/off in you need to. 2. It really work and not just sometimes, alway! Block all ads and provides you clean iOS usability expireince Recommend it to all of my friends and family !

This app requires that you download and connect to a "fake VPN" as the app puts it. It actually puts you more at risk of viruses and malware. My phone was never able to actually connect to this VPN, except for once, and even then no ads were blocked... I would stick to known companies like Norton, who does actually have an ad block app that works without downloading additional components and doesnt require you to connect to a Fake VPN

Adblock is verry verry good app I use it daily and I never encounter any problem with it. Good work guys
