AdBlock - block ads on iPhone App Reviews

I was using an app and ads were showing where ad should not be. I thought maybe I forgot to enable ad block, so I checked and I was getting a yellow network error. After looking further I found that my cellular carrier, T-Mobile, hijacks any dummy DNS clients, like the VPN used by this up. It doesnt work if Im connected via LTE or 4G. I called T-Mobile and discovered that there is no way to fix this, except to switch to a different ad blocker that doesnt use VPN dummies. Are use my phone a lot at home to connected to my Wi-Fi and it works fine its just when Im not home and Im on LTE that I get ads. This of course has made me very sad I gave the app five stars because its a great app and great company, but I am disappointed with my carrier for disabling the ability to not look at ads.

But half the time it turns yellow and claims problems. Uninstall didnt help. This must be manually started and you have no idea if its running because sometimes you see ads and other times you do not.

When I go to update it the app just sits at the loading screen. Usually I have to reinstall it. Cant turn it off to try to fix issues with some other apps that wont even load with it on. Also after install it doesnt seem to work on cellular anymore. Dont bother.

Very recently it stopped blocking ads on LTE. I am on T-Mobile US. It still works on Wifi. Hopefully we get an update soon.

The app works on a lot of apps and does have some good coverage. However it doesnt seem to work AT ALL on any TuTuRegular apps. Not really an issue for me since I have VIP, however I know many free users will be annoyed by this fact. On top of that, many ++ apps dont seem to have their ads blocked when downloaded from certain sources. The ++ apps from TuTu and PandaHelper dont have their ads blocked, however ones from ipasigner do. This is mostly likely just a case of an outdated domain list, which can be easily fixed in a future update or manually finding and entering the domain.

Need i say more. Update: doesnt work on Lte anymore and it constantly needs to be open to work. Update: doesnt work at all anymore

Ive had this app for 3 months. It works on cellular, and wifi. I bought it because I was getting a lot of "ghost" Verizon ads. The ads were playing in the background. What bothered me the most was I am a Verizon customer. This app immediately solved that problem. Im not sure why others are having issues, but I have had zero, NONE! Just to get rid of that irritating Verizon ad was worth the $2, and change. This app has been worth it to me.

The occasional sneaky ads slip in, but this app does a great job. After using it a while, then turn it off, I can tell a big difference.

It does work for blocking ads, but it causes videos to lag

Great little app. Simple, blocks most ads across my device, and can be turned off easily. One minor issue is that it wont let you open some links from google searches because the pages are promoted to the top (even though it is the website I want to go to). Overall Im very happy with it.

i have been using this app for so long and loved it. unfortunately i sometimes get lazy and hit update all on the app store. im getting ads now, so its either the version itself or the lists have become out of date. please put out a fix soon! 10.3.2 on a 6SP

Doesnt block any ads at all

I buy this app and i try to open it but nothing i cant open it !!!?
